The game is nice an all but in some parts bears a strong resemblance to God of War hmm…
Gotta say it was better than I expected.

At PAX this year many beautiful and very anticipated games were available for play and Haze was one of them. Although visually it doesn’t look like Crysis it does come very close to it, but looks are not everything. Gameplay feels realistic and the controls are solid. This particular demo had a few bugs but keep in mind this is just a demo.
Her is a quick look at the epic battles you will have on your Wii. Thanks to Godzilla Unleashed you will be able to fight battles of great magnitude. Visually this game doesn’t look that great though, and looks pretty much just like the other “giant monster vs. monster” games.
Here is a very short video I recorded of this spectacular game. This game will revive the hopes of really controlling the monsters you have in your deck for everyone who plays card battle games. Yay we don’t have to imagine monsters coming out of the cards anymore!
Sorry everyone for not having any audio to go with this cool video, there were no speakers on that computer plus it was really loud. By the way does this remind you of the intro to Red Alert 2?
“Rocking” get it? Umm yeah….anyway visiting th Harmonix booth was the first thing I did after intering the show floor. Long line has already formed around the booth by the time I got to it. It was one of the most exciting things at the convention by far. The set up they had there was genius. People from Harmonix had the game running on the main stage(which you see in the video) and two other sets of instruments (you can say) on each side, letting gamers play with the headphones on. I probably liked the drums the most and is what I’m probably going to get. Funny enough no one wanted to play the base even on the new guitar. Can’t wait for the full game to come out!
There were a lot of cool things on display at this year’s PAX but this is got to be the best. This full-sized version the badest monster from Bioshock appeared(I think) on the second day of the con.

The original crew or band as they say is back again for this special PAX panel. John, Garnett, Shane and Luke were hilarious, but I got to say that Luke was too quite I really missed his bitterness. I also met Ryan and Kathleen and they were awesome (thanks guys). An enforcer kept blocking the camera in the beginning trying to disconnect the DVD player, but bare with me it is worth it.

Appereantly someone took down my video from stage6 and I didn’t notice until now. You can download the entire 1UP panel at PAX by clicking on the link above.
This year at PAX while standing in ridiculously long lines I met a lot of cool people. While standing in line a couple of guys came up to myself and Dejital and the first thing I’ve noticed was a bunch of DS’s with big things sticking out of them. Turns out these big things were servers and the guys were the creators of Drawn To Life Jeff and Steve. I have never seen this done before, but they actually went around the show floor giving away demos of their game and actually talking to gamers. I tried out the game and it is undoubtedly the most original DS game I have every played. Later that day Dejital and I got to sit down with them and talk about their game.

I forgot to mention that in this game you will also have vehicles and wepons.

Phew what a year to go to Seattle. PAX was awesome period. There was so much here I didn’t have enough space to record everything, but I did get you the hottest vids and developer interviews from the show floor. One of them being the live demo of Assassin’s Creed. Enjoy!
