I just finished Portal, Valve’s new single player shooter/puzzler and I got to say that it is the puzzle game I have ever played. I am not a big fan of this type of games but this one mascaraed itself into a shooter, kinda. Anyway here are 2 screenshots from the end of the game I wanted to share with you.

Very cool ending and that cake really does look “delicious and moist”, however did you guys think the ending would be different? If so, post your thoughts in the comments section. There is no need to register.

an awsome game, i thought the end would be you excapeing and rescuing the mistery person who was apparently in those spaces ” behind the scenes” but i found it strange that you never meet that person, also disopointing, but maby more will be revealed in portal 2 or even ( and hopefully) a merge of stories in half life ep3
that would be neat!

if u noticed in the song she mentions black mesa, thats because apeture science and black mesa are both in the half-life universe, they are both competing for the DoD funds (dont ask me what that is)

You should know that GLaDOS* has no voice actor and is in fact, the edited version of the windows tool (where you type something and it plays back?).
They just made her sound more higher and surreal.

Ellen McLain voices GLaDOS. She just mimics the computer voice, then they overlay it and add effects. It says it in the Developers’ Commentary, in the first “back room” before chamber 17.

I just finished this game.. its awesome as the Half Life saga is… I was very impressed with the final… i im wating for HL3.. ahh perfect!!

I think your forgeting (from a story standpoint) GLaDOS killed all the people at apperture science with a “deadly nurotoxin” (I think you survived because you were in that stasis chamber in the begening) so im afrid that apperture will most likey not make another apperence…but as for the one that escaped, that may be a different story
