We all know that when great movies turn into games they usually suck for a lack of a better word. Bourne Conspiracy by High Moon Studios think that they are up to the job of actually creating a good game out of the Bourne universe. From looking at screenshots and developer blogs it seems that they are doing something right.
One thing that many game companies try to do when making a movie-game is making all the characters look as realistic as the real actors from that movie. As awesome as it is to watch and manipulate your favourite(or hated) actor they usually look generic and plastic. Just take any Harry Potter game for example. Also many actors do not lend their voices to the game so that makes it even harder to enjoy. Gameplay in these games is usually mediocre or nonexistent. Now in Conspiracy you play as Jason Bourne and not as Matt Damon which coated in wax which is good. This way we will not be disappointed with how he looks and what he sounds like. Also it looks like the gameplay is fun and engaging. I think it is good that Conspiracy is not going to be just another shooter, but will also have interesting fighting mechanic. I can’t wait to get my hands on the demo.

So here is the question of the week? Why do you think that movie-games do not last?
